Our Material
316L Surgical Stainless Steel · Titanium-Bonded 18K PVD Gold
Our jewelry starts with 316L surgical-grade stainless steel — the same material used in watch cases and medical implants. It doesn't tarnish, doesn't corrode, and doesn't react with skin.
The finish is 14K or 18K PVD gold: real gold, applied through Physical Vapour Deposition. The process vaporises gold in a vacuum chamber and bonds it to the steel surface at a molecular level — using a titanium adhesion layer as the foundation. Not dipped. Not sprayed. Titanium-bonded.
The result is waterproof, tarnish-free, and nickel-free jewelry built for daily wear — through the gym, the pool, and everything in between.
Velorne Pearl
Our Pearl Collection uses the same 316L surgical stainless steel and titanium-bonded 18K PVD gold foundation as our Everyday pieces - waterproof, tarnish-free, nickel-free.
What sets it apart is the pearl. Every piece features hand-selected AA to AAAA grade cultured freshwater or baroque pearl, chosen for consistency of lustre, surface quality, and shape. Freshwater pearls are cultivated in controlled conditions, producing a cleaner, more refined finish than saltwater alternatives at a comparable lustre grade.
The combination gives you the softness and warmth of pearl with a base that survives daily life without special care.
Stone and Finishings
All Velorne pieces set with stones use AAA-grade cubic zirconia — precision-cut to maximise light return, with a hardness of 8.5 on the Mohs scale. Consistent, durable, and brilliant in daily wear.
Select pieces feature natural semi-precious and precious gemstones — moonstone, labradorite, turquoise, and others — individually sourced. Natural inclusions and tonal variation are part of what makes each piece its own.
Enamel pieces use hand-applied epoxy resin for a smooth, glass-like finish in rich, consistent colour.
